RECOMMENDATIONS

FOR NEWBORN SESSIONS

To ensure a successful session, it is essential to follow the recommendations outlined below:

  • Baby’s Age: The ideal age for a newborn session is between 5 to 12 days old. This is a crucial requirement, as babies at this age sleep deeply and retain fetal-like poses, making them more comfortable during the session. The safety and comfort of your baby are my top priorities.
  • Photography Style: I have a distinctive style of photography. If you have specific ideas or preferences, feel free to share them with me. I would be happy to incorporate them into the session and ensure the results are as beautiful as possible.
  • Older Babies (12-16 Days Old): If your baby is between 12 and 16 days old, please consult with me beforehand. I will need to know their size, weight, and birth details to determine if the session is feasible.
  • Twins or Multiples: For twins or multiples, an additional fee of $200 per baby will apply.
  • Clothing: Please dress your baby in clothing that is easy to remove and put back on, ensuring minimal discomfort.
  • Health Precautions: To protect all of my little clients, no family member should come to the studio if they are experiencing symptoms of flu, cough, or any contagious illness.
  • Pacifier: Bringing a pacifier is essential for the session.
  • Baby Sensitivity: A small percentage of newborns may be sensitive, and it is possible for them to wake up quickly or experience discomfort due to gas. While I will do my best to keep your baby calm and comfortable, if they remain awake, we will still capture beautiful photos of them with their eyes open, though these may not be as posed.
  • Photo and Video Policy: You are welcome to take photos or videos during the session, but please refrain from using a flash.
  • Feeding: Please bring milk for your baby’s feeding, whether formula or breast milk. (If you are exclusively breastfeeding, this does not apply.)
  • Family Photos: If you would like family photos, I recommend wearing solid colors—avoiding patterns and logos. My suggested colors are nude, black, or white. Family photos will be taken at the end of the session, allowing you time to prepare in the studio if needed.

RECOMMENDATIONS

FOR MATERNITY SESSIONS

  • Clothing: I do not provide clothing for maternity sessions, as I believe it is important for each mother to express her personal style. However, I can provide fabrics for artistic photos (please confirm color choices beforehand).
  • Hair and Makeup: Every mother radiates a unique glow during pregnancy. To enhance this natural beauty, I recommend arriving with your hair and makeup done. It does not need to be heavy makeup—just something that makes you feel your best.
  • Retouching: I retouch all of my photographs, including skin and body enhancements. If you prefer minimal retouching, please feel free to let me know.
  • Photography Style: I have a defined style of photography and do not use preset backgrounds. I prefer a simple, clean look with flat backgrounds. I also avoid using montages or digital manipulations in my work.
